Meeting Schedule Update - January 2023

The Tarrant County Food Policy Council Board is taking some time to do some strategic planning during the first half of 2023. There will be no General Council meetings during January through June of 2023. Please continue to participate with our Working Groups and any events or volunteer opportunties. Stay tuned for updates on our meeting schedule and for information about events. Working Group meetings can be found on the calendar below and are open to the public.

Council Meetings 
Member meetings are open to the public and held on the first Thursday in February, April, June, August, October and December virtually 4 pm.

Board of Director Meetings
Board meetings are generally on the second Thursday in January, March, May, July, September, and November. For more information about the board, please email us. 

Working Groups

Join one of our working groups to play an active role in improving our local food system. We have working groups on Community Gardens & Urban Agriculture, Children's Health, and Food Recovery. Working groups meet monthly or bi-monthly. See our calendar for more details.

Local Fare Awards Dinner

Celebrate our community's good food heros at this annual event recognizing leadership, stewardship and community service all in the name of food access.
